Phthalic acid C6H4(CO2H)2 is a colorless, crystalline compound. It is an isomer of isophthalic acid and terephthalic acid. Any of three isomeric acids having the formula C 8 H 6 O 4 , especially the ortho isomer (orthophthalic acid), a colorless, crystalline, slightly water-soluble solid used chiefly in the manufacture of dyes, medicine, and perfume. Phthalic acid C 8 H 6 O 2 , is used chiefly in the manufacture of resins, plasticizers and textile fibers. We offer specific size crystals for Oil & Gas Drilling Fracking or Fracturing.
