Specifications of Calcium Sulphate or Calcium Sulfate:

Appearance: Calcium Sulfate occurs as a fine, white to slightly yellow-white powder. It is anhydrous or contains two molecules of water of hydration. It is also offered as Calcium Sulfate Hemihydrate.
Loss on Drying: Dihydrate: Between 18.0% and 23.0%.
Assay: >98% on dihydrate basis. Similar assay for other grades.
